It met all expectations. It was a gift to someone else and they were very pleased with it. They did find that it didn't include a couple of drinks that were popular with the crowd they socialized with but other than that it was great.

If I want a mixed drink with vodka in it, I turn to the chapter about vodka and it gives me several drink ideas that have vodka in them and I can make up my mind that way. If I was curious what was in a Harvey Wallbanger, I could leaf through the book until I find the entry for Harvey Wallbanger and then it will tell me the ingredients and how much to use and what kind of glass to use.
I also wanted to say that I was impressed by the fact that the seller sent me an e-mail telling me that the shipment would be delayed because of the weather. Not a lot of sellers would do that. Even though it was delayed, it still arrived earlier than expected. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

This mass-market format paperback is likely to have most but not all of the drink recipes you need to become a winning home "mixologist." Long Island Iced Tea is here, of course, and the Moscow Mule, as well as more esoteric fare like the Tartan Swizzle. However, you won't see the Appletini or Vodka Martini here. Count it a "B" (four stars) for usability, but keep it near the bar nonetheless.
