I am a speech teacher whose students have been loving The Pete the Cat books! Unfortunately I ordered "Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses" without noticing that Eric Litwin was NOT the author. My students as well as the other staff members noticed right away! This book is too wordy and abstract for my students, does not reach a logical conclusion, and is missing the appealing rhythm that Eric Litwin was so skilled at creating. Too bad for my students, and too bad for the Eric Litwin-James Dean team! You guys had a very special thing going there....
