Book was a bit too instrumental for reading and I lost interest trying to follow the complexity of operating the computer. I bought this over two years ago. Since then I have advanced to use the Mac on my own without the book. I wouldn't recommend it.

Not very helpful - Too technical - and not written to really help you get up to speed quickly. Also a lot of it does not apply to the new MacBook Pro which I purchased.
