I love the recipes in this book, but make sure you read ahead of time what will be required in your recipe. Many of them utilize sauces that also need to be made for the recipe.

This cookbook is my new favorite in my collection. I stock up on basics like the oven-dried grape tomatoes, jalapeno cilantro puree, and especially the confit garlic and oil, all items that can be used in myriad dishes using different applications. The focaccia bread is now a staple in my home, and the santa fe chicken salad is to die for. I have yet to be disappointed with any of these simple, flavorful and diverse recipes. I haven't even visited their establishment, but now it's definitely in my future vacation plans.
