Sequel to the first book but in my opinion better than the first. Funny and quirky. My kids loved it. Especially if you do each type of crayon in a different voice. Each one has a disctinctly different personality. Love all the humor and attitude.

This story had some great puns and jokes and even hidden jokes from the first book! My daughter enjoyed the first one so well and I'm glad I bought both together so we could read them together. Her Dad and I read together at Bedtime story time and we all were cracking up at jokes and were pleasantly surprised to learn our 4 year old knew that pyramids are in Egypt not where Neon Red crayon says they are! Haha. Great lesson, great fun, money well spent.

This book is awesome!! I would purchase this for an adult. I understand that it is a kids book but man it is so funny. The whole concept of this book is brilliant. This book is full of post cards from lost crayons sent to their owner. One is left by the pool, another ate by the dog, it is a must read no matter your age

I love this book as much as my kids do (if not more). I didn't think a second book could be quite as funny as the first one. However, I was proven wrong. This book is hilarious!

My children (ages 3 and 5) love this book! It is an easy read, so creative, and the pictures are fantastic.

There is a glow-in-the-dark page, however, it did not glow for us. If we left it in the light for a while, it might work. However, the glow feature isn't necessary, as the book is fabulous by itself!

Drew Daywalt has done it again! A creative, laugh out loud, and fun book to read. I highly recommend to children from about 2.5 to adult! You absolutely couldn't go wrong purchasing for a younger child, as they will enjoy this book for years to come. As a parent, I could read both books (The Day The Crayons Quit and The Day The Crayons Came Home) over and over again.

I saw this in the Goodreads list of candidates for the Best Picture Book of the Year and thought my granddaughter (who has just recently discovered crayons) might like it. So I had to read it after having bought it to see what it was like. Actually, I think it may be a little over her head by now, but she has liked books from almost the beginning, so I think by the time she is old enough to start learning how to read she will like it, and won't be hurt by having had it read to her a few times beforehand.
This is so cute! Man, it is tough to be a crayon! And the little boy, Duncan is a very understanding and clever fellow to find a way to take care of all his errant crayons.
