I think this book would be best if you knew a little bit about piano. The video links are easy to get to and easy to follow. Very decent for a beginner!

This book is very thorough and helpful in beginning piano.

I had previous music experience years ago and forgot pretty much everything. This book helped me relearn how to read music. Mainly, it is helping me play the piano. I'm just starting for the first time and it has been helpful to guide me with finger placement and playing with my uncoordinated left hand. I'll keep using it until I'm ready to step up to the next book.

It has been quite a few years since I've played the piano and I decided to pick it back up. There were a few things that I couldn't quite remember that were causing me frustration from the theory and note reading standpoint - this book has solved the problem perfectly for me. There are videos you can access but I haven't needed them yet, the book does a great job explaining note reading, basic theory and hand position with lots of practice sessions to reinforce the lessons. Using this reference as a refresher has increased my confidence and enjoyment playing significantly. I would definitely recommend this item.

It's the best book for beginner
