There isn't a story to this book - it's just the song. The fun part is that the lid of the cookie jar (top of the book) pulls up on each page. We didn't realize that until we had already read the book several times. Usually books like this will make extras like that really obvious, but this one did not. It's a cute book for a 2 year old. This wouldn't be interesting for much older than that.
