For a game guide, this book is classic - very nicely done. Love the hardcover and it has a pleasant texture to it too. Fantastic full-color pages are laid out nicely and it's easy to find what you're looking for. No really earth-shattering pointers but definitely has some good tips and the maps are great for finding hidden objects (like Sarlaac Pit!)
Don't know if I'd recommend the standard guide but I highly recommend this deluxe edition if you're a Star Wars fan. The lithographs are well done too!
