My husband got this book for a class and ended up loaning it to a fellow officer in the same class. A lot of useful information.
Excellent resource

Our department TEMS team members purchased this book to prepare them for the newly developed Tactical Paramedic - Certification test. This was a huge contribution to out teams success at the test along with the additional material suggested to prepare us for the test. Many educational points are made in this book by multiple talented and gifted authors with years of experience. I would suggest this read for anyone who is currently or looking to the future being part of a Tactical EMS program.
Great resource for law enforcement medics

When I took the tactical medic certification test, this was one of the suggested review books. It was an excellent resource as far as Tactical law enforcement. Any paramedic worth his or her salt could pass the ALS portion of this test. Subsequently our department switched to this textbook for the LER's. We switched from the Brady which was primarily fire department based and our test scores WENT UP! The student evaluations of the curricuuim couldn't have been better. Finally an emergency medical textbook written specifically for Law Enforcement. Thank you!
Very Disappointing

Does not seem to cover even half the topics listed for testing on the TP-C Certification Exam...and those topics on which it does have material...it seems very "light" on the kinds of details that exam would test for. So definitely not a TP-C prep book even though it IS listed as "recommended" reading by the BCCTPC. :-(
