The book content is fantastic. My three stars are relate to the paper cover. I have read it was used but it is terrible. I know it was my fault, I expected it was not too damaged and to my surprise it looks like if a toddler has used it as a toy. Anyway the book content is fantastic.

Great book. Nice explanations for the wrinkles.
What you need to know about drawing Drapery from imagination.

This book has everything you need to know for drawing wrinkles from memory and imagination. It is well illustrated, but the style is more illustrative (eg. graphic novels) than for fine art. But the principles are sound and can be adapted to suite the style you wish to work in. I recommend this book for anyone looking to learn how to draw drapery and clothes.

First, I'm a sculptor, not a drawer or painter. With that in mind, this. like all of Burne Hogarth' lessons provides hints and excellent technical guidelines for placing realistic wrinkles on pieces. It lists the reasons for the folds and easily extrapolates from 2D to 3D. If you are interested in creating realism in your drawings this will probably help, whether you are a beginner or accomplished artist.

This is an exceptional study of fabric drapery. It is a bit over the top, but I think that this is probably essential to understand what can be. It is then up to the artist to decide how much of it to use in your renditions.
