So far, this is the best, most modern reference for the forensic person interested in the field of "Questioned Documents." Too many of the other references for this subject that are on the market today focus entirely on handwriting examination or simply give passing mention of other forms of document examination. This particular reference covers the many aspects that we know have been developed in parallel with the advancement of technology in general: computer-generated documents; photocopiers; fax machines; identifying the different types of paper; modern methods of the dating of materials; scanners; image manipulations; camera techniques; digital photographic "enhancement" techniques; and so on, all of which is covered quite well in this publication.
In addition there are chapters that address the Daubert issues, preparing for court, testimony, the use of visual materials, etc. It's a very useful reference for the forensic scientist.
