This book is the real deal written by someone that actually has experience instead of some random professor that has never worked a day in his life. It is apparent when you read it that the guy has real knowledge. I am straight up amazed at the detail and how well written it is. I'll definitely be purchasing the 3rd edition when it comes out in a few months.

After years of working as a mechanic the curiosity got the best of me. I was tired of working with things every day without having a full understanding other than the simple stuff you can find on a google search. This book is definitely what I have been looking for.

I did purchase a different book that was absolute garbage about a month ago and purchased this one immediately after doing some research. This is definitely the best book I have found so far. While it doesn't go in to extreme detail it is well organized and has a good bit of everything. Leslie R. Rudnick did a wonderful job with this book.

Since they won't allow me to write a review for the other book that's a terrible waste I'll post a picture. I would return "Chemistry and Technology of Lubricants 3rd edition" but it wouldn't be fair to the seller.
