Wonderfully written and great information. I love Christmas as the author of this book does as well. He offers many photos that will inspire you to love decorating for Christmas. Richter offers some good advice and information that you will find very helpful.

Saw this when I was reading a blog for tea-lovers I follow. Since I am always looking for "another holiday book"---I have more than 75 that I display on our entertainment center: children's Christmas books, a copy of the script for "It's a Wonderful Life", Christmas customs around the world, etc.---this one looked promising. After reading the reviews (and being a fan of vintage Christmas decor), I decided to buy it, and am glad I did. It is written by someone with a real respect for Christmas past, and beautifully photographed. Have decided this the gift I am giving to friends and family next year.

My mother was pleasantly surprised with the book. She is enjoying it now. Finding old decorations she owns in the book. Pictures of things she grew up with. It was a good purchase. Thank you for having it.
