Jackson uses pyramids and diagrams, to determine your learning style, and further reflect on how best to communicate to your audience. The "Hot Tips" throughout are take-action bits of information that enable you to create and apply immediately. Just means you get results faster.

Loved the skeleton example as the presentation layout. Clever, practical, and inviting!

The personality quiz at the end is really neat. I've pretty much figured myself out. But when it comes to understanding and improving my presentation skills, there's ALWAYS something I learn to become more successful. Or perhaps just more effective in getting the point across to my target audience.

Oodles of important information in this guide. My recommendation is to buy this book and let the author know what you learned. Well done!

Anyone who's ever cringed about giving a presentation will love this practical guide. It contains all the essentials you need to be an excellent presenter without having to spend days researching what to do. I especially liked the appendix that contains a questionnaire designed to determine your primary "intelligence type" which helps you focus on those areas where your natural abilities lie, so you can focus on those. Anyone who needs to present will benefit from this book.

An amazingly powerful and inspirational guide that should be compulsory reading for anyone who TALKS to another human being nevermind present on a stage or in a boardroom. Jackson's authority on the subject is without question. He is one of the leading practitioners of his art in the world. He doesn't just rely on his natural talents but works hard in pursuit of perfection and has managed to get pretty damn close. I have seen Michael Jackson present for over 15 years and after admiring his style and gravitas, the way he connects with his audience and imparts information and concepts that instantly resonate and are incredibly memorable I was compelled to buy this book initially out of curiosity - a desire to see "how he does it". After reading it cover to cover TWICE I now know exactly how he does it but I also now know that I can do it! Two pieces of advice that I would give to anyone reading this review;
1) Buy it, read it and apply the lessons
2) Buy as many copies as you have friends, gift it to them and sit back and wait for a Mexican wave of gratitude!
