This was very easy to read and understand the concepts of dog training. It reinforced some of my training ideas and pointed out some of my past mistakes. It's a great tool for anyone getting a pyppy.

Excellent book my Frenchie was trained in 6 days you must I repeat you must be willing to go the extra mile and believe me it pays off my Jax knows exactly what and when to go and right back inside and then I'll take him outside for play time believe me it's awesome now .......

I think the schedule will be very helpful in potty training our new puppy in a few weeks. I am excited to get her going with the bell by the door. Our two year old pup does very well using the bell.

I grew up with dogs and had at least one until well into my 40's. Once the kids were grown and I went back to work, I didn't think it woul be fair to leave a dog alone all day. Now, 30 years later, I'm retired and ready to have a dog companion again. I'll be getting a puppy and found this book to be a good refresher and reminder about how to effectively deal with a new "baby" in the house. I recommend reading this before the pup arrives so you'll have everything you need to be successful ready and waiting.

This is a really good book, i got my puppy about 5 weeks ago. I got this book about a week after I got him because, my other dog is 15 and it's been a long time since she was a puppy. I started his plan and in two weeks he was about 90% trained, mind you I didn't follow it 100%. Right now my puppy is 5 1:2 months and he is almost 100% trained. If you follow it strictly I think you can do it in 7 days. My dogs are both Terriers and it took me much longer to train my older dog. I've spoken to other owners and it's taken them longer. It's all consistency and positive reinforcement guidance in the book and it's really good stuff that will help you. I absolutely recommend the book and he actually has two scheduled you can follow.
