Just right and just what they said it would be!

Through my wife's Amazon Prime account, I recently ordered this Trails 2012 Illustrated map of the Lake Mead area. What I received in the mail was not the proper map, but the 1999 version of this map (the one which you will see for sale on Amazon with no red or green on the outside). I contacted Amazon Customer Service, and they promised to have the correct one in my hands within two days (and they asked me to return what I had received). Lo and behold, today the replacement arrived - and it was another copy of the SAME INCORRECT map! We contacted Amazon customer service again, and their response was rather surprising. Instead of doing something to get us the proper product, they declared that they would issue a refund and that we would have to send BOTH improper map copies back to them. They currently have a message under this product saying that its availability is pending review. What bothers us, though, is the fact that, thanks to Amazon's failure to send the right product TWICE, we have now had to hassle with Customer Service on two occasions AND must now make a special trip to the Post Office to mail two packages back to Amazon. And what did we get for all of this trouble? Zero, other than a form letter apology accompanying the instructions for returning what we had received. We have been very good customers of Amazon over the years and are Prime members, so I thought that something like this would be handled better. I can't speak for the third party sellers, but, if you're going to buy a Trails Illustrated map that is an updated version, be forewarned: you may get sent the out-of-date version instead.
