Combining Yoga and Horsemanship
mgr✓ Verified Purchase•August 28, 2015
A wonderful combination of yoga wisdom and horse knowledge, this book helped me to combine both disciplines. It has aided me in becoming a better horsewoman, and enabled me to use my yoga training more directly in my riding experiences. I highly recommend it.
perfect!

This book is everything I hoped for as a middle-aged beginning rider. The dialogue and the exercises are exactly what I need to become more confident and comfortable as I learn to ride a horse.
Good if you already are practicing yoga.

If you already know yoga, this might be very useful. It doesn't do a very good job of describing individual poses (but I don't think that's the purpose). I also wished the book had more sequences of poses.
Not what I was hoping for

I don't need an intro to yoga, or a book about doing yoga in a barn or by a horse. I was hoping for full yoga practices and a lot more exercises to do while mounted.
It would be nice if it coerced specific series of movements to help with common riding problems. This is a newbie, intro to yoga type of generic book. Very disappointed.
