This is one of the better pattern books I've ever seen! I'm self-taught in crochet, and this book has not only the text pattern, but also illustrations right alongside the patterns for special stitches that are needed. It does have a couple patterns that are Tunisian-type (I think) patterns that have me curious about that style of crochet now :) The patterns are gorgeous too!
