This was purchased as a gift for my 7 year old nephew. He and his 5 yr old brother were quite taken by the pictures and the sounds. It was great to have a written description on the page that you could read to them giving a better understanding of each animal.

The book itself is darling and my grandson loved it. Unfortunately, the battery lasted only two days. At $6 a pop to replace the battery, this will be one expensive book! I haven't used it since replacing the battery so I can't say how this will work out.
