Protection for larger collectible cards
Teahouse Fox✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 18, 2023
I recently found a game from my childhood, Dragonmaster , that I immediately broke out and started to play with friends. I quickly realized that the cards would accumulate wear rapidly if I didn't find a way to protect them. Fast.

The cards are larger than the standard playing card, or collectible card game. They are more like tarot cards in size. This sleeve is perfectly sized at 70mm X 120mm (2.75" X 4.72") for this kind of card.

It's clear on both sides, so cards with elaborate backs, or printed on both sides are still useful, which means it's perfect for a thirty year old game, that uses tarot sized cards. It does make fan shuffling difficult, but the easy glide of the sleeves means that you can jog-shuffle a short deck together relatively quickly.
Great sleeves but plan accordingly

I bought a few sets of these and the "mini" board game cards for Elder Sign and its Gates of Arkham expansion (which is great, by the way; makes Elder Sign even better).

They are just the right size for the cards (naturally, being from the same company that produces the games), producing a bit of an empty edge all around the card. (See image.) The sleeves have a slicker gloss to them and the corners are a bit pointed. (Not sharp, mind you.) The plastic itself is not very stiff but durable enough to withstand some slight folding. (It's not stiff like the laminate you would use for paper cards, if you're wondering.) It was very easy to put the cards into the sleeves but if you have a lot of cards, prepare to set aside some time. (It took me about 2 hours to put all the Elder Sign and expansion cards into the sleeves.)

Since the sleeves will make a stack of cards even thicker due to the thickness of the plastic and the air between them, be aware that you can easily end up with a scattered pile of cards if not careful. I'm thinking of getting a few card holders made just for this purpose. I hate disorganization anyway.

Since the sleeves make them a little bigger as well, you might have to figure out a way to store them as you might not be able to store them in the original boxes they came in. However, it's a small price to pay to protect your investment. Highly recommended.
Durable, quality card sleeves.

I ordered these sleeves specifically for use with the player cards in the game Dungeon Roll. These cards are the suited width for these sleeves, but they are not as tall, as such, I trimmed the sleeves to fit the cards. I like the quality of the sleeves, they are a good weight, provide more than ample protection for the card, don't tend to pick up smudges, and don't add an unnecessary amount of bulk to the cards. I have used other sizes of these sleeve series with other game cards with the same results - this consistency in quality is another reason that I continue to get this series of card sleeves.
They are fine for storage

They are decent sleeves, but they feel a bit cheap, cheaper than some that I've used in the past, and too cheap for the price.
I give them 4 stars because of the quality to price.
They are fine for storage, but may tear if used regularly in card games.
Other sleeves you can get twice as much for half the cost, even irregular sized.

I bought them trying to find sleeves for a particular card game that is now out of print for about 13 years, Heresy: Kingdom Come which is an irregular sized card. But these are too big, too wide, and too tall. This did not weigh into the star rating, but for anyone who is thinking of buying these for that game, or something in similar size, pass this up unless it's your only find. I found another pack of sleeves for less that should fit better. But I bought these to protect until I receive the proper sized ones, yes I basically bought these because of my prime membership shipping even though I knew they might be too big.
Cards from my standard Rider-Waite and a Halloween deck fit perfectly

People with small hands might want to know this adds substantially to how thick the deck is when all the cards are in sleeves. I've figured out a way to shuffle that I'm happy with so it's didn't bother me. I either split the deck into two and shuffle each stack, then split those into two and mix up the stacks, and keep varying stacks and reshuffling back together. You can do this faster than it might sound. You can also do the classic "dealer shuffle" without bending your cards (just let them gently fall into each other without you bending the edges), and I also slide shuffle (hold one half in a hand held lower, hold the other half relatively above, and slide the cards down).
