I thought the NCLEX was very very similar to the Kaplan questions. This book is great to tell you tricks and tips to answering questions so you do not get caught up in dump trap questions. Passed the NCLEX the first time, so I am a believer.

Passed my NCLEX RN in August 2016Read this book but didnt really do much with it. Its a book to help you test. No knoledge based information in here. Used Saunders Comprehensive Review, read it from front to back, used Kaplan and UWorld, ALL questions answered and review AFTER reading Saunders. Just like i did it for when i took my LVN in 2011. Id recommend Saunders Comprehenisve Review to study content and recommend reading everything from there, even the tid bit information that you wont use when youre working but will use on the NCLEX. Then follow up with critical thinking practice test questions using UWorld and Kaplan QBank. Good luck to all future Registered Nurses!

I passed NCLEX first try and I thank Kaplan! NCLEX is MORE than what you know. It's about how to answer correctly. Kaplan has created a blue print for even the worst test taker to be successful. It teaches not only what to study and how to study but how to break questions down. These strategies work even if you don't know anything about the content of the question. NO u can't not study but this book will teach u how to pull out the correct information from your memory bank. It will point out what u should know so you can go back and study your weaknesses. This book was more of a help than the book I paid $300 for. Get it!! Worth every penny!!

this book is good. the online resources are helpful. i have been able to break down difficult questions thanks to strategies discussed in the 1st section. unfortunately, the kindle version has some major editing errors which made it very difficult in the content and quiz sections of the book. I was able to access the pdf version of the book through the online companion site to get to the correct information.
