The book is just okay. For the most part, the English and Reading portions are sort of close to the actual test. The math had extra stuff that didn't appear in the actual test. I wasn't a fan of the rundown sections of each portions because I felt they were not relevant to the test and had a messy presentation. If you get this I would recommend you use this along with the HH Publishing GKT modules online which I felt was more reflective of the test. Check with your college or university to see if they offer a free trial so you don't fork up $30. To be honest, you'll probably be better off with the HH Publishing modules on their own.

I don't feel like this book helped to prepare me for the test at all. I passed the test the first time, but purely off of an FTCE app I downloaded on my phone and not because of any information or practice tests in the book. The questions simply weren't relevant to the questions on the test. Download an FTCE test prep app instead. Those questions are more closely related to the test than anything in this book.
