This is a book I wanted to absolutely treasure. As a massive BOTW and Zelda fan this was going to add to my collection of Zelda guides.
Unfortunately looks like I will need to repurchase this book from somewhere else.

Despite the book coming out of the celaphane wrapping some pages are bent and creased and others are actually faded to the point where it is very difficult to read what is said.

I'm really confused as to how this could happen but I'm very upset and will be much more careful about buying books in the future.

As far as the book SHOULD be this is a fantastic book everything you could want to know is inside and makes for the perfect accompaniment to playing the game. Any Zelda fan would be thrilled with this book so long as they don't receive it with the damages I did.

The book is amazing. Structurally, it has the same quality as a really good classroom textbook. Meaning, it could last forever if you take care of it. The images are all high definition, text is crisp, and the content is well organized and presented.
It's a great companion to BOTW and will look great on your shelf!

Note: My book arrived slightly damaged; two corners were bent. I'm assuming for now that it was damaged in shipping, like others here have reported. I do not fault Piggyback, the publisher. They are willing to replace any damaged book if you contact them. I've already left packaging feedback at Amazon. The cardboard sleeve it shipped in is just not good enough for a book this heavy. The corners need more support. If you use the return process at Amazon to try a replacement, their reason choices do not include one that would point out Amazon's fault in the poor packaging. I decided to keep mine as is. If you are unsure, try to find the book in a bookstore or contact the publisher directly.

Had the original soft back version of this guide. Bought the update because it includes the 2 DLS updates. Also it is more of a collectors item, since it is a hardback. The guide is stellar with broad hints plus basic steps to help new players or veterans who might be stumped in a particular area. The map is helpful, wish it had not been folded. Overall the book covers every aspect of the game.

***Biggest disappointment as others have already mentioned, was the packaging. Was shipped in a soft envelope. Mine was ripped open on one side and there is a slight dent on the book binder at the same spot. Amazon and the shipper are to blame for poor packaging and handling. Why ship a collector edition hardback in a flimsy manila envelope???

Don't let shipping put you off. If you are a BOTW fanatic or just like the game, you will love this guide.

I have to say, I was a little worried about this delivery, especially after seeing so many reviews that stated that the guide was arriving in a bad package. And looking at the pictures made me worry a bit. But to my surprise, the book came in a nice box. And inside the box, the book was well wrapped and it had an extra piece of cardboard that protected it from bumps and especially, it protected the corners of the book. I am very happy with my purchase! If you collect gaming guides or are a Zelda fan, this is a must. The guide is very detailed and with the added dlc info, it's a win win! Buy it now before it goes up in price!

I gave it five stars because the book is beautiful and the guide is written nicely, so I wouldn't want to take anything away from the work Piggyback put in to create the guide. However, as others have expressed, I'm extremely annoyed with the poor choice in packaging on Amazon's part. Mine arrived with bent corners and a gash in the top of it that partially tore some of the pages. I'll definitely remember this before I buy any more books from Amazon.
