Ok, between all other comments we could find, and after a year of playing with it: our, then 4 years old, now 5 y, is more then happy to have it. He plays with this toy every week for a whole year. Anatomy model is nicely made, even though we wouldn't say it is a high quality product, but!, for that money is wonderful. Our son likes to 'work' with it, and we hope he does learn. Inside-organs elements are, as many other noticed, very dirty after some time. They are made out of sticky gelatinous- squishy gummy kind of material, which means also that, with a time, becomes loose... intestines are falling apart. Yet, as I wrote earlier, for the money, we can manage that. To finalize the comment: I would recommend it to parents who are looking for a model-toy for kids wanting to learn and play around human anatomy, but I don't know if this would be something for the students in medical area.

Being a retired teacher, I was excited to buy this for my granddaughter because she was very interested in how the body works. We had fun going through the book and reading the information as we extracted the parts. We did have trouble opening the skull, but it did open. The frustrating part came when we tried following the directions to put it back together. We still haven't been able to get the hips to stay together. The sticky organs are fun, except when you are trying to put them back in order. Their stickiness becomes a con. After the excitement of operating the first time, we've only used it one more time because it's too hard to reassemble it! Also, I think the hips are defective. The "pro" of this toy is the book and information for the body parts as the child operates.

Purchased for my 4 year old who is very interested in bones and human body stuff. This product is even cooler than I expected and she loves taking everything out and putting it back together. Everything comes off, including the skull to reveal a brain. Took off one star because the organs are already starting to lose their stickiness and droop out of the open part of the plastic body case. However, would still buy again due to the high quality of the pieces and its ability to hold the attention of my 4 year old for long periods of time. I also wish that it had the option to include reproductive organs/bladder considering she is very interested in questions like, 'where does the pee come from?' and 'what makes boys and girls different?' and it would be helpful to be able to show her anatomically.

It was ok. Only major thing was the quality of the clear plastic outer case and the inner items snapping back in. Good luck trying to get it all back in and snapped in. I just gave up. Would have been cool to display in my child's room, but we couldn't get all pieces to snap back in and the outer plastic cased to to stay closed either.

Squishy Human Body is extremely educational toy for my five year old son! He absolutely loves it. Plus the book that comes with the toy is easy to follow and teaches you mre in depth about the Human Body. The parts are very realistic. The only reason why I rate a 4 is that some of the parts don't click and stay in. For example the feet and hand. For an adult assistance it works fine. When my son does it he always asks for me to snap them in for him because it's too tricky for a five year old and still falls out on me.
Other than this caveat I would highly recommend to any ambitious child!
