I like to have a blanket project going at the same time as other smaller projects, so I'm always on the lookout for innovative books. This one fits the bill perfectly. It has many appealing patterns I haven't come across in any other books, as well as a number that can easily altered in size to make into full size afghans. There are blankets knit in one piece, squares, or strips. The patterns range from very simple to intermediate, with some intarsia and some stranded color work designs. A number of patterns have edging designs that can be adapted to other blankets. If you're looking for a book with something other than the old standards, I think you'll enjoy this one. Whole-heartedly recommend!
