It is a beautifully composed historical novel

It is a beautifully composed historical novel. The flow of events keeps you engaged and curious to continue reading without interruption. Immediately, the attractive front cover of the book takes you into the moral and determined mind of young boy, Noble. His name resonates with his inner qualities. The reader can feel his sense of being on every page of the novel. The author paints a portrait of Noble's passionate desire to become a carpenter, to save the lives of people regardless of their labels, and to make an effort to promote peaceful means to quell the fight and killings among Indians and settlers through pages of the 1755 history of Pennsylvania.
This captivating historical tale is very suitable read for high school students. My eighth-grader granddaughter would love to read it during summer.
