The book is concise and well written, especially the explanations on how to use the pot, but it falls down with the recipe selections. A number of recipes use ingredients that many cooks don't have on hand, require the user to cook meats and poultry in batches or on the stove, and provide very little variety within groups (i.e., meat, poultry, fish, desserts, etc.).

The cookbook is well-written, giving me lots of tips on the proper use of the Instant Pot. I am not so enamored with the recipes, however. A lot of the recipes call for spices that bother me. I'm sure that once I am more familiar with what will work in the Instant Pot I can adapt some of my own favorite recipes.

Excellent cookbook for the IP! Recipes are great followed exactly as is, but it also gives you an understanding of how the IP works so you can quickly do your own thing. I had my IP for 2 years before I was brave enough to take it out of the box - was just very intimidated by it. This book was my introduction and I'm sorry I wasted two years! Use my IP several times a week and LOVE it! Once you get to know the settings, timing, etc, it is so easy to use.

Have only made two recipes. Both were delicious! And it has great tips to cut time. My only wish is that the time it takes for Instant Pot to get to pressure would be included in the calculations - it's not, so you need to add some time to allow for the pressure creation.

I use this all the time (1-2 nightly meals a week) for my family. Quick, delicious meals and veggies to die for.... What did I do before insta pot? I missed out obviously using only a crockpot. If you are a busy mom, you need an InstaPot & this cookbook. Your family will tell you how great everything tastes and cleanup is quicker b/c one pot. :)
