Each Slinky has a lifespan - you can only play with it for so many hours before it gets that inevitable kink or twist that removes its Slinky-efficiency. This was a gift for my 3-year old niece. She played with it at our house all day - it handled being walked down the stairs countless times, being bounced and swung around with abandon. At the end of the day, she left with the Slinky still intact. I was impressed. It held her attention and its own shape well.

It's a Slinky, a traditional toy, but in plastic instead of metal. We gave it b/c of metal cuts when we were younger. B/c they were gifts, we don't know if they tangle like the metal ones. Do they?

My rabbits love playing with this plastic slinky. It's not the same as the classic metal ones, but works great for a rabbit toy. Careful to monitor them when they use it, they might get their head stuck somehow. Gave it a 4 star because the plastic degrades quite fast in the sun and becomes brittle.
Slinkies are cool, but the color didn't match.

I got this slinky specifically because the picture showed it as purple. I needed a purple one as a prop for a play where everything was purple. When it arrived it was hot pink! Sure, I like a hot pink plastic slinky, but I couldn't use it for what I bought it for. I'm guessing the pic is generic, and they come in assorted colors, but that wasn't clear.
