Missing parts

The set is really nice, I am giving a low rating because I have received twice now and both times one of the instruments was missing (triangle). I tried to contact seller and got no response. I really don't want to have to return it again but would like to have the complete set :(

The Hohner 6-Piece Rhythm Instrument Set - with accompanying songs - encourages creative play. My grandchildren - ages 8 through 2 - get a kick out of pretending like they're in a band. My 4-year old granddaughter loves the song "Apples and Bananas" and makes me sing it over and over again. Truthfully, that song couldn't be more irritating, but when my granddaughter wants me to sing it, I do as I'm told!

I am disappointed. Maybe I expected too much after reading so many good reviews. The package was sent in a plastic envelope so was delivered totally damaged. Luckily instruments were fine. Tambourine was the one I decided to buy this set and I have to admit it is a big joke. It's plastic and does not sound real. Actually sounds horrible. I mean, really bad. Moreover, the triangle is aluminum and does not look like on the photo provided by the seller. It's for the kid so I am not going to return it, but I would not buy this set again. At least not for this price.

This may be obvious, and you get what you pay for, but some instruments have very marginal sound quality. Better: tambourine/drum, bells, triangle. The hollow one & cymbals sound pretty bad. I'm not sure if other (more expensive) sets sound better, but I kinda wish we spent a little more for higher quality that we'd be happy with (i.e. don't mind hearing her bang on) as our kid ages.
