Make your telescope a terrestrial model!

If you have a telescope and have not tried using it for terrestrial viewing you likely have not had it long. And, while the image is clear, I found it being inverted (Upside down) to be a bit difficult to use. My telescope equipment is a mix of the old, made in the U.S. and the newer made in China items, but they all fit together and work as designed - so if your like me and have a mix don't worry about it. I will say I prefer the older items as they are made of aluminium rather than plastic - but admit if they were made here now they may well be formed of plastic.

The Meade erecting prism was just was I had looking for, thanks to it my old C90 celestron orange tube is now alive (attaches perfect to telescope rear and allows to use 1.25 inch eyepieces). It gives wonderful astroimages, yes I said astroimages, despite it was designed for terrestrial daylight use, performs great for moon, sun and planets, and for bright DSO. Very good balance between price and quality.
