I did not realize that this wand is child size. It is realistic in every way, but I only wish it was a little longer. I am 5 foot 9 and will look a bit odd carrying it. Otherwise, true to the photo and arrived quickly.

I severely over estimated the lenth that these would be. I think the measurements include the broom part, not just the stick. I used these in an engagement Harry Potter themed photo-shoot, and now they are going to adorn the walls of our HP inspired front room/library.
