My jet bandsaw is around 20 years old, I already replaced the rubber tires on the blade wheels. For some time now I wanted the Carter guide kit, but at retail it was a little expensive, then I found it on Amazon for about $35 cheaper than retail. Today I installed it on my bandsaw and everything fit perfectly with no modification, and I had read reviews where it didn't fit properly. So I'm including my model number which is JET JWBS-14CS. I am including pictures to show you how easy it is to install, there is also a wonderful YouTube tutorial, that you can watch. Of course before I wrote this review, I had made several cuts, the blade stays cool and stays nice and straight, what more can I say.

Purchased the Delta version of this guide set to replace the cracked original guides on my 16" Grizzly G1583 band saw. I purchased this saw new more than 20 years ago. Shortly after placing my order, I discovered a picture of the Delta model installation instructions that clearly showed this style would not fit my band saw. Tried to change my order to the Jet version, but was too late. No problems returning the Delta version (purchased from Rockler via Amazon). The Jet version is a perfect fit! Immediately noticed the saw runs smoother and quieter. Mostly used for resawing. Wish I made this change 19 years and 364 days ago.
