Great Heavy Duty Clamps

I love these clamps. They are exceptionally solid for heavy duty use. They have come in handy on numerous projects. You can't use them for the smaller more delicate woodworking, but they weren't made for it either. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I am fully convinced that Jorgensen Pony clamps are the finest pipe clamps available. There are others which also perform well bot Jorgensens are just machined better. I have some which have been in continuous use in excess of 30 years and they still perform flawlessly.
Perfect clamps for home woodworking projects.

These clamps are great for a medium-scale woodworking project (in our case a table). They are a snap to install on the pipes purchased from the local big box store. The only difficult part was screwing on the retaining rings. I tore my fingers up a bit getting those on the pipe. Otherwise, these clamps do exactly what we need them to do. The screw mechanism is smooth and fluid and the sliding clamps work perfectly.

Strong Clamps

I ordered four of these clamps for a dining room table project and they worked very well. I purchased the black pipes from Home Depot because the black pipes don't tend to cause the clamps to slip like the unfinished galvanized. This was a good decision. If you want to protect your project from getting black markings on them, purchase some PVC pipe and cut them to 3 or 4 inch lengths and slide three of these on each pipe. No black transfer to the wood and you are all set for clamping!

Right out of the package I was impressed with the quality of these clamps. Compared to the similar offering from Bessey, these just appear to be higher quality castings. While it's not a requirement for my tool purchases, I do like that they are made in the USA. I'll update my review after using these for a couple of projects.
A bonus is that the packaging is very simple, consisting of a plastic clamshell (that opens easily) and a cardboard sheet with product details. This means that at least in my municipality the packaging is 100% recyclable.
