I bought these for painting the window sashes in our home, after we had our windows replaced. My wall color is different from the inside sash color, and it's very difficult to paint with a regular paint brush. I was using one of my old paint pads that is a 1 inch pad, and that was working great, because that was basically the size of the sash that was left. When I ordered these I thought they would work, but they are bigger than the size of the sash, so that is not helpful for this project. They will work if your painting area is one and a half inches or less. I do really like these pad painters for things like trimming and painting sash and stuff like that, but I wish that they had the 1 inch size for my purpose.
