So I am left with a useless piece of equipment

This disk drive came without the cd needed to install. When I tried to download this information I did not have a registration number and was unable to do so. I was told to purchase an update drive software program at a cost of $39.99. I only needed this drive for a one time transfer of data. Instead I will hang on to my old computer and start all over in a new accounting program. So I am left with a useless piece of equipment.
Also when I contacted the person who sold the drive, I was told it did not come with a installation cd or registration number.

I have had past experience with this product and have many zip discs which are once again usable and have recovered old files.
