These have sturdy pieces which make the puzzles last. The pieces are big and easy to use, with bright colors and good graphics. Wish they were not so expensive but that is because of the good quality.

The big vibrant pieces are great for a 5yr to handle and look at. The colorful box is very good for him to follow and guide while assembling the puzzle. This is my fav brand of puzzles, they really hold up well especially under the force of a determined 5yr old.

Gave this to my almost 4 year old grandson for Christmas. We immediately had to put it together. He loved it, puzzles are always an educational time! I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug products, especially their puzzles. I bought this for my nearly 4 year old son and he LOVES this puzzle. I was not expecting it to be so big, but it's perfect. The pieces are great quality and well depicted.
