This did exactly what I needed. I have an older craftsman lathe and with the stock motor pulley it spun too fast for doing bowls. The smaller pulley on this stepped pulley allowed me to run the lathe slower with the same motor. The casting is a little rough, but not enough to have any ill effects for me. I'm using it with a linked belt for turning the lathe.

Just got this in the mail yesterday, and ready to get my Bandsaw running. The sad thing was, I didn't have the reaction like I was opening a gift on Christmas morning, because as soon as I opened the package I noticed that it was the WRONG size bore. The description clearly states that it's a 5/8 bore sadly to say mine was a 1/2 bore. Nice product but WRONG size.
