I've never been much of a whisk user, but I've used this thing a lot since getting it. I used to prefer to just mix batter with a fork, since traditional whisks just never seemed to work all that well and were a pain to clean. This thing works so much better, cleans easily, and the nylon balls allow you to use it for things like whisking eggs in a nonstick pan. And the quality is top-notch, too. I looked at these on and off for a while, wondering if they were really better or just a gimmick. I'm definitely sold on the idea now.

This is the only whisk I ever use! Which is a problem when it's in the dishwasher....very annoying.. so I decided to order a second one. Bringing up the Amazon page it says I ordered this on APRIL 23, 2006! I've had this for 12 years and it's still perfect!
I think this is easier to use, mixes better and IS MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN!!
These are not what you'd use for really heavy, thick batters or doughs. But for everything else (and I think probably 90% of my needs) this is just perfect.

I love kitchen gadgets that make cooking easier. I have a lot of them and this is my new favorite kitchen gadget! Great for when mixing in metal bowls, which I have. The silicone balls not only prevent scratches to stainless mixing bowls/pans but also that metal on metal feeling when you whisk. I will definitely order a few more, not only for myself but to give to friends. AWESOME ITEM.

I had one of these whisks for years until a family member "borrowed" it so now I have to buy another. I'm glad it's still available. I like it better than a standard balloon whisk for cooking sauces and folding ingredients on heat because all the turbulence is created at the bottom where you want it, causing less splashes at the surface. It is also much easier to clean. For things like incorporating air into egg whites it is somewhat less efficient than a balloon whisk. But a superior solution for cooking.

I love to cook. I love kitchen gadgets. And out of all my kitchen "gadgets" (non-electrical) this is absolutely my favorite one. I love the open-ended design. You don't have to deal with food getting caught in the middle like it does with a balloon whisk. I use it for everything from whisking eggs, batters to whisking warm milk and grated chocolate on the stove for a superb hot chocolate. In fact over the last few years I've purchased six or seven of these to give as gifts. And then I purchased another one for myself because I use it constantly so it's almost always in the dishwasher when I want to use it. I love it that much.
