Awesome and works great.

I am so glad I found out about these. I have bought two. One for olive oil and one for another less good for you oil. However these make the oils preservative free like you find in ready made sprays. Just make sure you clean them prior and let them dry throughly before use. Leave enough space for air to be pumped into it. Pumping the canister is easy and you will Def know when it can be used. I use this daily to make eggs and other stove or oven items. I highly recommend this over other inferior products on amazon.
If this should break down prematurely I will be back to update.
I hope this helped someone make their decision. If so please hit the like button. Thank you.
HIGHLY recommended! But it you won't be disappointed.

I cannot say enough about how much I love these pump-spray bottles. I'm not a schill, and I don't give many 5-stars - but when I find a product I love I totally go for it and tell everyone I know about how awesome it is.

I do not recommend this product for *any* type of spirit, acid, or extraction. The rubber (and the pump itself) will not hold up well to vinegar or any kind of alcohol. Sure you can put it in there, but know that once you do the life of the product will shorten significantly.

Do not fill the bottle more than half way. Do not fill it to the top, and do not fill it to the top of the plastic insert that goes inside. Trust a Chemical engineer - you need air space to be able to hold pressure. Liquids are pretty much incompressible, thus no air = no pressure.

I bought my first one at the local store. After 5+ years the pump part broke so I bought these off Amazon and gave one away as a present.

They are aluminum so if that bothers you get the stainless steel version. It's a bit more pricey but if you're concerned about aluminum then get that one instead.

I use these for EV olive oil. When I make a grilled cheese I don't bother with butter I just spray a little olive oil on it. This means I am not only choosing an oil/fat with a better HDL/LDL ratio but that I also use *less* oil/fat to get the same results. Also works well for panini/Foreman-style counter grills. Sunny-side up eggs have never flipped so easily, flash-fried zuch & squash medallions without the heavy coating of fat! Yeah I know it's not butter and doesn't have that butter flavor but I'm not going to turn into a vegan and I'm not going to give up some of my favorite comfort foods. Using this enables me to make a really *naughty* dish a tiny bit more healthy.
Only One Flaw

Produces a mist-type spray, sort of like the pattern you'd see from a spray can of paint.

Works well with both the cheap olive oil and canola oil; we probably used the canola oil more for non-savory baking and curing cast iron, but they both got a lot of use.

The flaw is that I had to replace mine after a mere 4-5 years of heavy use, and that when I managed to leave the canister on the oven vent while it was on, without noticing, it melted/warped slightly. Still functioned, but looked silly. Pretty easy to clean. Yes, this "flaw" is very tongue-in-cheek-- my husband learned to cook with those spray-cans of cooking oil, and they cost more each than these reusable bottles, and I don't have to worry if the kids are helping me cook and hold it wrong, so it loses all the propellant; just pump a bit and go for it. For folks who are very worried about what they're eating-- this is one definite way to KNOW what, exactly, is in the oil.
Fourth time the charm.

This is the fourth one of these I've purchased. The first two lasted about a year each before they gave out, got plugged up and refused to spray. They required a lot of pumping for a little charge and didn't disperse the oil very well, requiring constant repumping. The third one before this, arrived defective and wouldn't hold any pressure at all. However, this last one works great, far better than any of the others even when they were new. It pumps up very quickly and holds the charge a long time. It sprays out a lot of oil and doesn't fill the air with a cloud of fine mist like the ones before. It looks exactly the same, but I'm hoping they improved the design rather than this being simply a quality control issue because I'm now very spoiled and will not accept any future units that work like the first ones.
Waste of money-- habitually fails after 4 seperate purchases
J. Stephens✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 21, 2017
I have boughten 4 of these-- they all failed for one reason or another within a year. First one geysered in my face after pumping. 2nd and 3rd one sprung a leak and no longer sprayed. Final one can't be unscrewed, likely because the thread is frayed. The company advertises a lifetime warranty, and going to the manufacturer's website and sending them an email is like talking to a brick wall. I haven't really saved any money by not buying aerosol sprayers. 100% failure rate out of 4 purchases. Poor product. Poor customer service.
