This is a pretty standard item, but at a good price. Installation from scratch would be straightforward with the instructions, but I was replacing old latches. On two doors, it was just unscrew the old one, and put in the new one. On the third door, I needed to re-drill/enlarge some of the holes, and I had to buy new screws because the threads on the provided ones were just enough off that I ruined the screw heads trying to force them in. It's only pennies and time, but I really wonder why the fit wasn't better.

This door knob looks nice and seems to be of decent quality. The holes for the parts that fit on the door must be EXACT when you install it. If you drill them just a little off, you won't be able to get it on your door. Another thing, it only installs ONE way. If your screen porch door opens OUT instead of IN, then the lock is on the outside which is the way I had to install it. Fortunately, I wasn't looking for the lock feature anyway.
