Nice huge old fashioned style roaster for people who cook for large families. Takes you back in time with the Granite Ware finish. One thing we noticed when using this pan. The handles of the lid are on the ends. When you lift the lid trying to check the food you get scalded by hot steam. I will have to add a handle to the top, and check the other handles to ensure they are secure and add mechanical fasteners if needed.

After searching Amazon for hours, I purchased this oven roaster pan. The first one I received was warped and the finish was flaking off. Thankfully Amazon replaced it without any problem. The second one I received was much better and sat flat without rocking when I set it on the counter. I expected the lid lip to be molded to the outside edge not the inside edge, the metal is much thinner than the ones produced years ago. It works and for the price it a decent oven roaster pan.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this roaster. It was a fantastic price for what you get. I just yesterday roasted a large 11.5 pound ham shank and it turned out beautifully. Not an ounce of steam escaped this thing and the ham turned out so moist and delicious. I did have a pineapple-maple-brown sugar glaze for it. It's light weight and cleans up great. The lid fits inside the base just a bit so that it creates a great seal to baste your meat continuously as it cooks. I got it because we raise our own turkeys to butcher and I needed something that would fit in my oven to hold a huge bird. This is the ticket!!! Highly recommend. I did not have any rusting or rivet issues that a few other reviewers had issues with. Mine was perfect and said USA.

I bought a very large turkey during the Holidays. I needed a large roaster for the turkey. This fit the bill. Year after year I have purchased non stick pans only to have them peel ruining the drippings for gravy. This roaster does not have that problem. The turkey did not stick at all. I had a 23 lb. turkey and there was room for more. The only complaint would be the lid does not fit securely. I was able to use the lid so this is not a deal breaker for me.
