I have owned several pools of this size from Play Day to use as a ball pit for my toddler and they have all had screw-on valve covers. I wrongly assumed these Intex pools would be the same but instead the valves had push-in covers similar to what you would find on a beach ball. The minute you put even a little pressure on the sides of the pool the valves would pop open and the whole pool would deflate. Returned both promptly.

It's a good pool for the price. Doesn't stay inflated for 24 hours, have two refill with air, but overall I'm happy.

I bought this with the intention of using it as a safe place for my young baby to play. It was perfect! Inflating it was a bit of an ordeal as I didn't have a special pump and naively thought that I could just use a bike pump. After about 30 minutes and some very sore arms I ended up buying a little pump from Amazon (Etekcity Electric Air Pump) and after it arrived I was in business. The pump worked beautifully and soon I had a nice big pool taking up most of my living room. I threw in a couple of blankets and some stuffed animals and hopped in it with my baby and we had a blast rolling around in it. Now I'm also looking forward to the weather warming up so we can fill it with water also! Fun all year round!

The day my pool was delivered, I tried to air it up and it would not stay aired up. I found two small holes in it and used the patch kit to fix them.
I also can not get the plugs to push in all the way,apparently, you need to be the Hulk to push them in since my father (who has strong man hands) couldn't even get the plugs to completely go in. The pool cannot be filled with water since that amount of pressure on the sides causes the plugs to open up and air to leak out.
I am currently using the pool as a play pen to keep my baby from crawling around and putting things in her mouth or pulling something down on top of her and getting hurt.
However, the pool is not staying fully inflated because of the crazy difficult plugs that will only go in part of the way, which you can see in the photo that the pool is deflating. In order for the pool to serve as a play pen, I have to re-inflate it for my baby to play in because she could fall out with it not fully inflated.

Good size, easy to blow up. Sturdy once filled with air. Big enough for a few adults to sit and lounge in. Definitely fits several kids.
