It works great.

I love this product. It keeps cans of soda cold for hours, likely partly because my warm hand isn't making contact with the can itself every time I take a drink. I'm someone who likes to drink a can of soda over the course of a couple hours when at work, and this product gives me the ability to do that and enjoy the last sip as much as the first one. Before bringing this to work, I tried it out in my car while running errands for several hours. It fits in my car's cup holders with no problem, and kept the soda cold the whole time. I like this product so much that I will probably buy another one to use at home and/or in my car.

So I've had this puppy since 2012. It's sitting right next to me as I type. Still going strong, the rubber still has a good fit to the metal, the can can still be placed in it and it slowly sinks down to the bottom. This cooler provides exactly the right amount of non-intrusive cooling. If you like minimal interruption and hassle to your beverage activities, this is the insulating device for you. I considered the snow-monster, but it is bulky and has a top that must be put on and off -- too much effort. I gave one of these to my drunkle the same year his daughter gave him a snow-monster brand one and this is his go to holder to this day.
You won't get 2 hours of cold beverage. What you will get: your hands won't heat your drink, the wind won't affect your beverage (fans, actual wind, a/c, etc), you will get a good hour no problem unless it's super hot, ease of use -- just drop a can in and go. It doesn't get easier than this.

Great product, would love to see a tall boy and skinny can attachment...

Great little mug, keeps my monsters cold for hours at work (around 3-4, opened of course, in the heat), and helps keep them from falling over and sweating all over the place.
Paired it with a bottle top that snaps onto the top of the can to keep it from going flat, now no more hot and flat drinks!
It works for tall cans that are the same width as a soda/beer can, but obviously doesn't cover them all the way (nor was it intended to or advertised as such). I would love to see an attachment for tall cans and maybe even a choked barrel attachment for the skinny cans.
Stick the can in a freezer for a little while and then stick it in this and it will be colder for longer.

Works great in a UTV!

Over the years I've tried out every kind of can cooler I can find and without a doubt this is my favorite. Not only does it work the best, but it's still small enough to fit normal sized cup holders, and it's tough enough to be used in our UTV. We go off-roading multiple times a year and we keep a couple these with us at all times. I don't have to fight a lid while wearing riding gloves in the middle of a trail in Moab. (Anyone that's been to Moab does about the fine dust that gets everywhere out there.)
With all that said, what I really love most is it keeps my water bottle cool in my RZR 1000 UTV. For those that don't know, the cup holders on a RZR 1000 UTV will turn a fresh from the cooler bottle of water into lukewarm water in about 15-20 minutes. Inside the Thermos it stays cold for well over an hour.

Testing all KOOZIES ! ! ! (or at least 5 of them)
JOHN ADAMS•March 10, 2016
Winner Thermos ! (because it's 1/3 the price of the yeti)
So I did a test with a Yeti, Thermos, Coleman style, thick foam, and neoprene koozie"¦and nothing at all as a control.
I chilled 6 cans to 34°. Each had exactly 8 ounces of water. (didn't want to waste beer"¦or drink that much) Why 8 ounces you might ask. No one opens a soda or beer and doesn't have at least a sip or 2 before forgetting they have it. For all you complaining that it doesn't fit a non-standard can"¦.Quit your whining. Manufacturers can't make something that fits everything. This was a standard can test.
In a 72 degree room. I know that's not the 90 you would prefer, but it doesn't matter as a test of which ones are the best. What matters is having exactly the same conditions for every can.
After 15 minutes "“ No insulation was 41°, Foam, Coleman and Neoprene were 37°, Thermos and Yeti were 35°
After 30 minutes - Nothing was 51°, Foam, Coleman and Neoprene were 41°, Thermos and Yeti were 36°
After 50 minutes - Nothing was 55°, Foam, Coleman and Neoprene were 44°, Thermos and Yeti were 38°
After 120 minutes - Nothing was 60°, Foam, Coleman and Neoprene were 49°, Thermos and Yeti were 40°
As far as temp is concerned the Thermos and Yeti were tied.
And both FAR superior to the old stand by neoprene.
