Works well and is very pliable, paintable also.

Works well and is very pliable, paintable also. The actual gauge of the wire is about #16-18. I came to this conclusion by inserting it into a #22-16 gauge crimp-on spade connector and it JUST fit. I then subtracted the estimated girth of the flux tube in the center.
In case you were wondering, I think only the length the wire comes in has been discontinued, not the wire itself.

A wonderful marriage of form and function.

Although this was a discontinued item, it was just what the sound doctor ordered - a good quality audio cable, reasonably priced and coated in a neutral color that blends in well with my living room decor.
Older is better

ahhh the good old stuff. This is like the wire I bought back in 88 for my Snell Kii and it still works excellently. Pity its no longer being made. My only problem with the wire is I didnt order enough. Needed 2 reels not just one.
