Only for the first generation vita

Did not fit the vita 2000, had to send back and purchase a different holder
Good case for the original PS Vita.

This case replaces the same Sony carrying case that I bought with my original PS Vita when it launched years back. The case is now very inexpensive as demand for it weans. The timing of this purchase coincides with the Remote Play features of the PS4 which I really like. The PS Vita sadly has very games worth playing and as a general device was a disappointment for h
Pros:
-The case provides good general protection though there's risk of it sliding out on a hard drop
-The stand is stronger and more durable than it looks.
Cons:
-The flexible material that holds the two pieces together will wear out and crack over time regardless of the user's care.
-The velcro close-flap does add a small amount of unnecessary thickness to the device.
-The device slides around a little while using it in the stand-mode. It's best used in your hand and not on a table.

This product looks very nice and seems to be of good quality. Unfortunately it comes up in the search for cases for a PS Vita slim, but the slim will not fit in this case as the clips are the wrong size. I returned the item with no problem and am only writing a review in the hopes that others will not make the same mistake since nothing in the product description indicates that it is not compatible with the slim.

This does not fit with the Borderlands Slim Vita. I called customer support with Sony to see if they had a clip that would fit, they said they only provide technical support (through chat and phone support). They said I should contact the retailer.
Obviously Amazon refunded the purchase and even looked to see if there was another case that may work. I am frustrated that a company would push their first party product as the responsibility of the retailer. I would have expected Sony to provide a clip that could be used with the slim, or deliver the messaging that this will only work on the original vita and there is no intention of making a similar product for the slim.

Needed a case for traveling protection, mostly take my Vita to work to dink around on during breaks, case works well for just tossing it into your bag and going. The easel stand works perfect for internet browsing and listening to music.
The sides are open so if you're around a lot of dirt or debris I'd recommend looking for a closed case. Also if you intend to listen to music using headphones with the case close you might need a headphone with an angled plug, I get away with just using the normal straight plug but it bends and a weird angle and I'm sure its not good for the headphone wire.
The case is perfect for day to day use, I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched when its flap is closed, I also enjoy its classy look.
