The brand is reliable. As I mentioned in another review the company is a good reliable company. Only twice since I've been using this product have I ever had to replace them. The company did so at their expense rather than mine. Sign of a good organization.

This item lights up an outdoor mat when you step on it. Pretty little lights that make people smile and laugh. The batteries arrived a little late but the smile in my granddaughter's face was brighter then the lights in the mat.

These are the batteries that my trusty Boy Scout branded flashlight uses. A few days before a scheduled camp out, I realized that my kids had been using my flashlight as a light saber, nearly killing the old batteries. A trip to my local Arkansas based mega-retailer left me shocked to learn that they did not carry this size battery, in any brand. On the rare shipment that did contain this battery, they get snapped up upon arrival. Walked out into the parking lot, got in my car, sat in the parking lot and ordered the 10 count package off of Amazon. A few days prior to the camp out, the batteries arrived and all was well.

The 10 count package is well-priced and well-packaged. These should last me through the remainder of this year's camping trips... if I can keep the kids away from the flashlight anyway...

The battery arrived timely, worked well right out of the package, and is completely satisfactory.

I'm docking the rating one star because of the packaging. It is RIDICULOUSLY difficult to open!!!

If you are thinking this will be a cardboard-flaps-open-in-the-back package like you typically see in a store, THINK AGAIN!. I have never before complained about packaging, since I know it's often necessary to prevent theft, loss, etc. But this one was RIDICULOUS!!! The battery is ENTIRELY SEALED inside a plastic bubble with no discernable opening. After five minutes of peeling away cardboard and trying to find an opening, it was clear there was no opening. I ended up breaking a pen trying to dislodge the plastic in the back, then resorted to using sharp scissors to try to pry the plastic open. I am NOT suggesting others do this, as it's dangerous. I am telling you the lengths to which I personally had to go to try to get the darn battery out of the packaging.

In summary: This packaging + human nature = a recipe for emergency room visits.

If you are the sort of person who has ever hurt themselves by jabbing sharp objects into plastic packaging... buy a different battery. There's nothing good for you down this road... ;)

My Timex WS4 ABC (Altimeter, Barometer, and Compass) watch was acting funny and I guess the battery life isn't that great. These CR 2430 batteries are pretty hard to find on Amazon for a decent price but I got lucky and found one for under $3 shipped to my door.

The product shown on the product page is not the product I received but a quick search on the Duracell website and the product I did receive is the current 2430 model. A Duracell Duralock Power Preserve 2430.

If you're looking for a CR 2430, this is probably the cheapest place you will find them. Duracell claims a 7 year shelf life for these batteries and the expiration date on my package says DEC 2023, that almost makes me want to purchase another as a backup but in my experience batteries never last as long as they claim.
