This version is for newer bar that receive a bulb with a flat ( not round ) base.

I think that this is an easy way to install a warning back up alarm on any vehicle. The sound is not irritating, but enough to grab the attention of people around you that you are backing up.
Does not fit in my 2003 Honda Civic!

The specifications state that it fits 2003 Honda Civic. Nope. The bulb is too large for the enclosure in the Honda; it almost makes it, but almost is not good enough. I think the tolerances are sloppy. Also, the bulb connector end would slide out of the harness socket. I thought that I could perhaps tape the two together, assuming the bulb would fit in the plastic enclosure. But no!
Wrote an email to Hopkins but never received a response. Returned it Amazon and received credit, minus shipping charges. An "A" to Amazon! An "F" to Hopkings.

No discernable sound from device

Sound from the device was barely audible, making it useless in providing warning to individuals standing near or behind the vehicle.
Backup alarm for a Ford F350 don't fit
