I love these stones but I'm a little disappointed in the two large size ones I bought. The diamonds didn't last as long as I had expected them to, but I do use them almost every day so I can't complain too much. All in all, a well made and thought out tool.
Thanks again, Bill T.

Never had a diamond stone before and was skeptical, of the Smith's low price. It is worth every penny. I have sharpened my block plane blades on it to a razors edge. Sharpened all of Wifey poo's kitchen knives and they are scary sharp now. Sharpened my Buck skinning knife to a razors edge and a 1/4" woodworkers chisel. I am going to buy the bigger stone as well. t\This is a good purchase.
