I purchased these boots for this upcoming winter season as my previous sorel boots just don't keep my toes warm and my bearpaws are only good for dry cold weather (they are slowly starting to break down as well). I was confused as to what size I should order (I have wide feet and my size ranges from 7-8 depending on the shoe), and based on what was available and costumer reviews, I went with a 7 1/2 Wide and they fit quite nicely! I tried them on with one of my thicker socks and the only issue I have is that despite them being wide, the top part of the boot slightly pushes into the top of my foot when completely on and tied. Given that these are leather however, I do feel like they will loosen over time especially after breaking them in (I'm hoping). These are excellent quality, the soles and material of the boot are just as good, if not better than what I was expecting. I am very happy with my decision to get the black pair as they will match best with most of my winter gear. Overall am very satisfied with this purchase and I am confident to say they are true to size! If you have wide feet, get these in wide or they will be way too narrow for you. I am giving 4 stars only because as I previously stated when worn, the top of the boot pushes into the top of my feet. With time I am hoping they can loosen in that area.

This time I was a bit afraid because I saw one review that said these were not legit. They're finally here, they are just perfect and everything seems original (even the box).
