Best spotlight I've purchased yet

Best spotlight I've purchased yet. I like the different power levels. The high level is very bright. I recommend it over the other three brands I already had or have. Brinkman,Stanley and a off brand. Brinkman was very nice also, but wasn't as bright and didn't have different levels. Plus the recharge system for Husky is powered the same way your phones are . Got two and glad I did.
I like it - no batteries disappointing me

With all these reviews everyone should get a good idea what they are buying. I agree with most of them. Number one it is a good product and well worth the price. It is fairly light and easy to hold. The cord is robust and well reinforced. The plug is a little long with a fuse inside, but no problem for me. The one thing I had to deal with is was how springy the coiled cord is. The relaxed cord is only about 24-30" long and tightly coiled. Stretching the cord any amount takes a lot of pull, so much that you will unplug the plug or possibly break it with a sideways pull. Seriously!
Anyway I solved the problem by clamping the cord and stretching it as far as I dared (about six feet) I then ran my heat gun over it until it relaxed its memory to my satisfaction. After letting it cool and the un clamping the cord it did not rebound much and I got what I wanted - high five me!
FYI - I looked at several 9-12 foot extension cords with male and female plugs but none of them could carry near the amps these things draw. 18 gauge wont cut it. I plan to make my own using 12 gauge.
Worked well.

Worked well. Bought this for my boat and docking after night fishing or finding our way back onto islands at night when camping. Worked well. One thing to consider that I didn't is the distance from your cigarette plug to where you want to be using it. I've got a 19' boat with the plug at the controls and the cord just reached the front of the boat where my spotter was wanting to stand and watch for rocks, etc. The light is pretty big which was fine with me, but on a smaller boat or trying to keep it in a vehicle full time it might be on the large side. It definitely lights up the night.
Providing good service as a boat spotlight.

I have a 29' Fountain that I run frequently at night. This light performs wonderfully as a spotlight and searchlight for my boat. It throws a very powerful, wide beam that is on par with $100+ lights I have used in the past.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for only two minor flaws. First, the trigger is supposed to widen the beam and turn the light from more of a spotlight into a searchlight. When I press the trigger, I notice no appreciable change in the throw of the beam. This is pretty much a non-issue for me as the beam is adequately wide for my purposes anyway. Second - and this may seem nit-picky - the plug is quite long. I was lucky in that my 12V accessory port has enough clearance behind it for this to be a non-issue as well. However, I had this light on another boat once and was unable to use it because the plug extended so far back from the 12V port that it interfered with the free turning of the steering wheel.
Don't buy this! Will be returning!

Absolute garbage. Will be returning this item tomorrow. Grabbed this item for a sailing trip. Not nearly as powerful as it claims to be, could not see any further than I could with a normal flashlight. The chord not allowing it to be any brighter just makes it even more annoying. Also, the trigger does not work at all. There is a switch on the back that works, but again it's not worth the effort of even turning this thing on after you plug in in.
